Cash Room Processor

Business Unit: Cash Services

Career Area: Armed Guards & Cash Processors

Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, CA

We are hiring 3 Fulltime Cash Processors (Overnight) for our branch in Vancouver, BC

What we offer

  • Hourly rate of $20.03
  • Fulltime position covering night or day shifts
  • A unionized environment
  • Safe work environment with efficient equipment
  • Ideal job for a person with experience in cash handling

What you will be doing

  • Process cash, coins, and other negotiable documents and accurately log the information in the cash processing system, ensuring a high level of accuracy is maintained at all times
  • Verify, sort, and balance contents of deposits, envelopes and shipments for our customers and prepare them for dispatch
  • Respect GardaWorld politics and security regulation
  • Maintain departmental productivity standards
  • Generate reports for customers and answer their inquiries with priority and courtesy
  • Maintain a clean and healthy work environment
  • All other related tasks as required

  • Reliable, conscientious and responsible
  • Highly organized and work with minimal supervision
  • Eager to work in a fast-paced environment and to cope with pressure and tight deadlines
