Job Description:
  1. Maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair robotic and automation equipment
  2. Repair and maintain injection molding equipment and related auxiliary equipment
  3. Assist Engineering Manager with the installation and building of robotics systems throughout the plant
  4. Preventive and Corrective maintenance of automation equipment (i.e. machine robotics, assembly equipment, End-of-Arm Tooling, packaging and conveying equipment, vision inspection systems)
  5. Preventive and Corrective maintenance of injection molding and support equipment

Ideal Requirements:
  1. Robotics and/or automation experience in a tooling environment
  2. Robotics, Electrical, Automation or Mechtronics related diploma is ideal
  3. Knowledge or familiarity with end of arm tooling, jigs, fixtures, stamping tools and general tooling knowledge an asset
  4. Familiarity with robotic automation, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems
  5. Previous experience in automotive manufacturing and/or a plastic injection molding plant an asset
  6. Have the ability to analyze data to determine possible trouble areas
  7. Ability to analyze, repair, modify and maintain Automation equipment
  8. Able to troubleshoot pneumatic and industrial electrical problems
  9. Familiarity with assembling and reassembling robots
  10. Work closely with team to set-up, troubleshoot, and modify End-of-Arm tooling and robots used in injection molding machines for parts handling an asset
  11. Familiarity with the repair and maintenance of programmable controllers, conveyors, end-of-arm tooling, robotic systems, etc. and asset
