Piping Engineer Responsibilities:

The Piping Engineer is responsible for representing Wood at site for Piping engineering and design related field queries. The candidate will coordinate the field engineering queries with Client and Construction Contractor.

  1. Coordinate field engineering queries with Client and Construction Contractor.
  2. Review Project specifications and engineering work packages.
  3. Issue construction drawings.
  4. Respond to field queries after consulting the engineer of record.
  5. Flag multidiscipline changes proposed by Construction Contractor to Project leadership team.
  6. Ensure compliance with Safety procedures.
  7. Resolve RFIs from Construction Contractor.
  8. Coordinate with Head office, Engineer of record, Client, and Construction contractor.
Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with Piping/Mechanical related subjects. Additional learning in Piping Engineering, Safety, Welding, NDE, etc.

Experience: Minimum 3 years in Oil and Gas or Downstream Hydrocarbon sector Projects. Experience in Piping design, stress, and materials related detailed engineering.

Skills: Good all-round communication skills. Thorough understanding of Safety procedures.
