Our client, an innovative food manufacturing company located in Brampton, ON is actively looking for a qualified Logistic Export Coordinator to join their team. This newly created position will report directly into the Logistics Manager.


Logistic Export Coordinator DETAILS:

  • Monday to Friday, on-site 8:00am to 4:00pm, flexible start times
  • 3 weeks Holidays
  • Benefits from day 1
  • Bonus plan up to 10%

  • $80K-$85K, based on qualifications.


Logistic Export Coordinator RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Responsible for all export orders from their inception to completion:

  • Confirmation of delivery date with customer upon co-ordination with production planner
  • Book trucks/containers with freight companies and manage freight rates relative to quoted price to customer
  • Co-ordinate Product Inspection with various departments: warehouse and shipping, Lab/QA, and CFIA Inspector
  • Request CoAs (certificate of Analysis) and print export stickers
  • Create and complete export documents for both tallow and lard for the US, Puerto Rico, Australia, New Zealand, and other international destinations.
  • Send documents to Dispatch, Customs Broker, and USDA
  • Prepare Instructions/Documents to provide to truck drivers
  • Confirm loads are presented to USDA
  • Arrange for taking Export Documents to the Vet daily
  • · Responsible for managing shipment from external storage warehouses (from within or outside of Canada) including booking transportation, managing freight, and releasing the product from the warehouse as needed
  • · Coordinate the shipping of all freight by contacting appropriate freight carriers, negotiating rates, and comparing them to find the best possible rates
  • · Maintain Shipping records, including providing tracking or shipping history information to customers on request
  • · Monitor shipments and respond to inquiries from carrier/driver and customers in a timely manner
  • · Review and audit freight bills and sign off for accuracy
  • · Manage customer clearance and CFIA release for incoming items from international destinations
  • · Create CFIA reports on outstanding certificates weekly
  • · Create and maintain USMCA-(united States, Mexico, Canadian Agreement)
  • · Manage CFIA and FDA accounts and renewal deadlines
  • · Maintain knowledge of current international export/import regulatory requirements

Logistic Export Coordinator REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4+ years of Exports Coordinator experience in a related field of Meat preferred or Food Manufacturing required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamic Nav is an asset.
  • Experience in CIFA (Canadian Food Inspection Agency) reports required.
  • Experience working with FDA (Food and Drug Administration) required.
