ROLE

As a Controller, you will play a pivotal role in managing key financial metrics, ensuring the fiscal health and sustainability of our business. Your direct influence will significantly impact the long-term success and financial well-being of the company. The primary objective of the Controller is to maintain financial control, oversee accounting operations, and contribute to strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Oversight:
    • Manage day-to-day financial operations and work closely with various departments for regular reports
    • Ensure adherence to financial best practices and compliance with accounting standards
    • Implement and maintain robust financial processes for scalability and onboarding of new team members
  • Performance Analysis:
    • Conduct regular analysis of financial performance against projections
    • Prepare and execute corrective or proactive actions based on performance evaluations
    • Review daily and weekly financial reports, collaborating with team members to optimize results
  • Strategic Collaboration:
    • Coordinate with the CEO and other stakeholders on budgeting, financial forecasting, and strategic financial planning
    • Contribute to the development of growth strategies, reverse engineering tasks for successful execution
  • Team Coordination:
    • Collaborate with the finance team and other departments to ensure efficient project execution
    • Regular Zoom meetings with team members to discuss past performance and future plans
  • Product Lifecycle Management:
    • Evaluate product profitability and recommend discontinuation or negotiate terms for future success
    • Ensure listings are optimized in both front-end and back-end to maximize visibility and sales

  • Achieve month-over-month financial growth
  • Consistently meet financial KPIs and projections
  • Foster a positive, results-driven team environment
  • Maintain active and updated financial records
  • Ensure clear communication with the Project Manager and Leadership

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in financial management or a related field
  • 5 years of experience in financial analysis and management
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong collaboration and delegation skills
  • Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Asana
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Willingness to take on new challenges and learn
  • Fast learner with a proactive mindset
