Career Opportunity and Primary Roles / Responsibilities:

We're currently looking for software or system engineers with experience in the verification of safety-critical systems to support the verification of a drone onboard communication system.

Required Competencies:

Influencing overall verification and strategy by:

  1. Helping define product and test environment features
  2. Enabling QA during design
  3. Spearheading best practices to enable a quality product

Additional duties include:

  1. Developing, running, and reviewing test cases and automated test procedures
  2. Developing and reviewing technical analyses in support of the verification activities
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
  • 5+ years of aerospace industry experience in verification and validation (in alignment with RTCA/DO-178C and/or ARP4574 objectives)
  • At least 2 years of experience with the Python programming language (for test automation)
  • Demonstrated experience with hardware-in-the-loop testing
  • Demonstrated experience with using Linux as a development environment, GIT, as well as modern CI/CD tools
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with communications systems and cellular networks
Miscellaneous Requirements:

Work can be done remotely. For employees based in Montreal, the work model is hybrid (at least one day at the office). The position might require travel to visit customers (in North America). Knowledge of English is required to communicate and work with customers outside the province of Quebec. / La connaissance de l'anglais est requise pour communiquer et travailler avec nos clients situés à l'extérieur de la province de Québec.
