Our client working in the Non-Profit space is hiring for a Manager of Digital and Brand to join their team on a contract basis until October 2025. This is an exciting opportunity working in a hybrid model, 3 days onsite downtown Ottawa.

The successful candidate will be fluent in both English and French and come with 5 years' experience working within brand marketing and experience leading a team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the organization's digital media and brand strategies.
  2. Enhance the brand and reputation through various online and offline initiatives.
  3. Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure a consistent brand presence across all platforms.
  4. Manage the organization's visual brand guidelines and ensure they are followed.
  5. Keep up with online trends and make strategic recommendations to improve the online presence.
  6. Oversee the management of the website and intranet.
  7. Manage video production and digital imagery.
  8. Work with the content team to develop content marketing strategies for a better user experience.
  9. Manage relationships with external web and creative service suppliers.
  10. Implement and manage analytics to track website performance and report to the Communications team.
  11. Ensure budget control and compliance with financial processes.
  12. Advise senior leadership on digital and brand strategies.

Experience:

  1. At least 5 years in web marketing communications, with experience in content management systems and analytics.
  2. Must be fluent in both English and French.
  3. At least 3 years in a management or supervisory role.
  4. At least 2 years in responsive and accessible web design, digital marketing, and software.
  5. Experience in brand or campaign marketing and graphic design.
  6. Experience in creating and managing brand standards.
  7. Experience in developing and executing digital and print communication strategies.
  8. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  9. Understanding of UI/UX principles, Agile development, and Government of Canada Web Standards.
