Primary Location Remote GIS Specialist (Remote) V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a GIS Specialist (Remote) for our premier client. What You’ll Need Technical Requirements and Certifications Esri certifications considered an asset. Education And Experience Training or experience using Python and/or JavaScript and using Azure DevOps considered an asset. Training or experience using Spatial Analyst, Network Analyst, Statistical Analysis, 3D Analyst and Image Server extensions will be considered an asset. Training or experience using Esri’s mobile platform including Field Maps, Survey123, Collector, Explorer considered an asset. Technologies Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Esri’s Enterprise. ArcGIS Online. ArcGIS Pro. What You’ll Do Job Responsibilities Spatial analysis for creating mobile & web applications. Communicate with clients to understand their needs; develop scripted processes to automate tasks. Prepare and deliver high quality spatial information products. Leverage the ESRI platform to deliver various location-based analysis for the Forestry, Transportation, Retail and other businesses. Use maps and data sets for spatial analysis to support business decision-making. Generate reports of geographical statistics based on spatial data. Develop and support a variety of Desktop, Mobile and Web GIS apps. Compile spatial data sets including LiDAR, census data, Global Positioning System (GPS) data, field observations, satellite images, and environmental monitoring data. Develop and support a variety of Desktop, Mobile and Web GIS apps across the various JDI business units. Prepare reports of geographical statistics based on spatial data. Communicate with clients to understand their needs. Interested?
