École McTavish High School is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our instructional team in the role of High School Physical Education Teacher.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education
- Bachelor of Education
Desired Qualifications/Skills: It will be an asset to have:
- Knowledge of teaching high school Physical Education.
- The ability to work in a team environment with staff and parents.
- A base knowledge of differentiated instruction techniques.
- Effective organization skills and classroom management.
- The ability to utilize technology as an instructional tool.
- An ability to design and implement Individual Program Plans for special needs students.
- A willingness to participate in the school community beyond the classroom.
- An interest in teaching a wide variety of electives.
- A commitment to continuous professional growth and a strong ability to connect and build relationships with high school students.
- Open to teaching a variety of elective classes that best suit the successful applicant.
