As the Housekeeper, you are responsible for assisting with providing a welcoming environment for our residents, employees, and visitors by ensuring our community is clean and cared for. ResponsibilitiesProfessionally clean and maintain resident rooms, common areas, including bathroom facilitiesSweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and washing all surfacesMove furniture as neededAssist with laundry responsibilities when requiredReplenish consumable items such as soaps and paper productsSpot clean walls and furniture, including windows and sillsCollect and remove trash and debrisDemonstrate awareness of accident and injury prevention, through safe work practices and procedures, including keeping housekeeping areas tidyIdentify safety concerns through daily walk through and staff/resident updatesIdentify and report any damages to maintenance teamAbility to be decisive when dealing with difficult and/or crisis situationsMaintain cleaning supply stockOther duties as assigned to support operational requirements Qualifications and ExperienceMinimum one (1) year of residential/commercial cleaning is requiredExperience in an aging adults setting is an assetCompletion of Highschool Diploma is an assetCompletion of CPR and First Aid is an assetSuperior organizational skillsExceptional interpersonal skills with peers, residents, visitors and operational partnersSuperior oral and written communication skillsDemonstrate the ability to prioritize and problem solveAbility to stand for extended periods of time, bend, squat, kneel and lift over 20 poundsStrong attention to detail Conditions of EmploymentClear Police Information CheckClear Vulnerable Sector CheckCOVID-19 vaccination proof.
