The Registered Physiotherapist will work within a state-of-the-art healthcare facility in conjunction with a team of Sports Medicine Physicians, Chiropractors, Massage Therapists, and Orthopaedic Surgeons in an environment that promotes daily collaboration among our team of practitioners.
This is what you'll be doing:
  • Practice evidence-based physiotherapy, utilize appropriate outcome measures.
  • Utilize professional judgement and interpersonal skills with patients and health care professionals.
  • Communication with clients, team members and others to achieve collaboration and service coordination.
  • Provide appropriate treatment for patients based on assessment findings and patient feedback.
  • Participate in program development, to support health and wellness for individuals, groups, and communities
Education:
  • Master’s degree in Physiotherapy
  • Registered  or pending registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
  • Strong orthopedic skills with a Background in strength and conditioning
Requirements:
  • The ideal candidate is client-minded, can multi-task, make quick decisions while using clinical and functional assessment skills related to musculoskeletal injuries and chronic health conditions.
  • Must be flexible and demonstrate an ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with all team members
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
  • Excellent organizational abilities with proven time management skills
  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position
