Role name: Platform Architect

Role Description: Define end-to-end solutions for IT change focusing on the Guidewire Insurance suite.

Create Guidewire centric designs that are fit for purpose from a functional, non-functional, service, and security point of view.

Deliver solutions that progress the overall architecture journey and are aligned to Customers IT Strategy. Comply with standards, design approaches, and governance.

Essential Skills:

• Proven experience in Guidewire Insurance suite including Guidewire Policy Center, Guidewire Claim Center, Contact Manager, Guidewire Edge.
• Knowledge of Guidewire Cloud Platform capabilities and cloud migration approaches/options.
• Experience in architecting integration solutions involving Guidewire to the ecosystem's applications including document, finance, payments exposure.
• Experience in integration architecture design and implementation.
• Knowledge of digital technologies, cloud computing, and modern development practices.
• Certified in the public cloud (AWS or Azure).
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end project lifecycle methodologies (mainly agile).
• Strong technical experience.
• Financial acumen to support the development of business cases and to inform key design decisions.
• Ability to balance long-term direction and necessary short-term goals.
• Good communication skills with the ability to provide technical guidance to peers and project colleagues.
• Strong personal impact and influence.
• Good stakeholder and relationship management.
• Leadership skills.
