If you have a knack for making recommendations after examining documentation, this is the position for youWhat You Get To Do Everyday:Ensure the storage of records are in adherence to local lawsConduct research and assess records for their legal, administrative and operation value to determine how long they can be retainedMigrate data to electronic databasesMake recommendations to improve current policies and proceduresDevelop and deliver training sessions related to privacy and security of recordsSchedule and facilitate virtual meetingsRequirements:At least 2-5 years of experience in a similar roleWorking knowledge of Extensive knowledge of the Municipal Act, MFIPPA, PHIPA, and Orders of the IPC and related legislationCertification as an Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/C) is an assetExcellent communication skills both oral and writtenProficiency in MS Office Suite (with emphasis on Excel and Outlook)Knowledge of vast computerized records systems and ability to work with multiple computer softwares and databasesPrevious experience putting together presentations and training sessionsPrior experience drafting and implementing policies and proceduresStrong analytical skillsAbility to work independently or within a team settingIf you meet these requirements, apply on our Robert Half website today
