ASIC Designer
We are seeking a highly skilled ASIC Designer who is not only proficient in the technical aspects of ASIC design but also possesses exceptional customer-facing skills. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support to customers, addressing inquiries, and ensuring smooth integration of Alphawave's Ips into their SOC solutions and leading the design of IP customizations to enhance performance, power, and area (PPA) metrics. This position offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of customer interaction, contributing significantly to the success of our organization while providing avenues for career growth and development.
What you'll do:
IP Customization: Lead the design and implementation of IP customizations aimed at improving PPA metrics and enhancing our competitive advantage. This includes identifying areas for optimization, developing innovative solutions, and driving the implementation process to achieve desired outcomes.
Customer Support: Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing timely and accurate responses to technical questions related to IP designs, integration, and functionality.
Integration Assistance: Collaborate closely with customers to assist in the seamless integration Alphawave's IPs into their systems, offering guidance, troubleshooting assistance, and customized solutions as needed.
Relationship Management: Cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with customers, understanding their unique requirements and working proactively to exceed their expectations, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including design, verification, and application engineering teams to address customer needs, resolve issues, and drive product improvements.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in ASIC design, with a focus on customer support and integration.
- Strong expertise in SERDES and/or IP development, with a proven track record of successful implementations.
- Familiarity with Ethernet and PCIE protocols is highly desirable.
