Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Engineer with a strong background in wastewater management and construction to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in overseeing the planning, design, and implementation of wastewater construction projects. They will collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and manage wastewater construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  2. Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement corrective measures as needed.
  3. Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and vendors to develop detailed project plans, specifications, and schedules.
  4. Prepare and review project documentation, including drawings, specifications, contracts, and reports.
  5. Monitor project budgets and expenditures, tracking costs and expenses throughout the project lifecycle.
  6. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
  7. Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, providing updates on project status, milestones, and deliverables.
  8. Collaborate with internal departments to optimize project processes and workflows, driving continuous improvement and efficiency gains.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience working on wastewater construction projects, with a minimum of [insert number] years in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, systems, and equipment.
  • Experience managing construction projects from concept to completion, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
