We are hiring a Senior Automation Developer to work with one of our clients, an international investment bank based in Montreal. Context The candidate will be responsible for supporting IT infrastructure services within the organization. The candidate’s mission is to provide secured infrastructures for various business divisions. This includes hosting business applications, offering cloud solutions, managing connectivity and digital workplace requests, and contributing to digital transformation efforts. The candidate will also be responsible for development functions within the IT infrastructure team, contributing to the automation of services, implementing private cloud solutions, and developing software for use by other groups within the organization. Responsibilities Develop and maintain RESTful Web APIs while adhering to GitHub workflow standards. Implement Agile methodologies, primarily SCRUM and Kanban, utilizing Jira software. Deploy product releases continuously through Jenkins pipelines. Identify and clarify business requirements effectively. Communicate task progress with clients and coworkers, summarizing feedback concisely. Understand and consider the OPS perspective to collaborate on creating appropriate services. Ensure adherence to procedures and compliance with technical designs and best practices, providing robust support mechanisms. Profile SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Technical Skills Python 3.x Object Oriented Programming Git/GitHub/GitLab Software Factory (e.g. Jenkins) and CD Agile Methodology Unit Testing UNIX philosophy and good practices Comfortable with Web semantic and standards NoSQL Docker/Kubernetes environment. Nice to have Some experience with TypeScript and Angular. Languages English
