Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience.As a core member of our Fund Accounting – Hedge Funds team, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.ResponsibilitiesYour Role:You will prepare monthly Net Asset Value calculations, which includes: Cash and Portfolio Reconciliations, Income and Expense Accruals, Partner/Shareholder Allocation calculations, Financial Statement preparation and trial balance review.Manage and monitor the timing and quality of client deliverablesInteract with senior management and clients; help establish plan for new client setup and transitionsHelp coordinate, manage and monitor external audit processPlace outbound phone calls to clients in response to written inquiries or obtain clarification on transaction processing requests; provide technical accounting/industry knowledge to clientsCoordinate with Operations group, Tax group, Investor Relations group, Financial Statement group, and other groups at CitcoReview client funds’ partnership agreements, PPMs and other materialsBe part of the implementation of fund structures on accounting systemInteract daily with P&L team on valuations and price analysisPrepare ad hoc reports as neededQualificationsAbout You:You have an accounting/finance background with relevant experience as evidenced by:A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics andDemonstrated 3+ years of work experience at hedge fund accounting or investment companies fund accounting with derivative instruments and external investorsNearly qualified or completed CA, CMA, CGA, CPA or CFA designation (preferred – not a must have)Strong working understanding of investment strategies and financial products (including derivatives)Been in a reviewer capacity of deliverables and managing delivery for the teamAble to demonstrate that you are comfortable working in an operations model where you have to coordinate and work with various teamsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated financial reporting, analytical and organizational skillsStrong Office and Outlook skill set (especially Excel)Proven ability to work in a challenging and professional work environmentYour well-being is of paramount importance to us, and central to our success.
