YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  1. Coach various internal clients and act as an agent of change for Lean strategies
  2. Work in teams with industrial engineering and provide production support for related concepts
  3. Develop assembly lines with logical sequencing and optimized operations
  4. Set out specific work instructions
  5. Facilitate Kaizen workshops in order to optimize plants and introduce new models
  6. Link different information systems and tools in order to direct operators in their work
  7. Determine assistance required by operators
  8. Influence engineering in advance in order to standardize methods and achieve an effective mixed model
  9. Assess variations for each workstation in order to take action and minimize them
  10. Participate in PFMEA

THIS ROLE IS A GOOD FIT IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in industrial engineering
  • 0 to 3 years of experience
  • Mandatory to speak French, ability to communicate in English (in order to communicate with different suppliers, with other BRP sites located in the United States, Mexico and Finland, in order to consult standards available only in English, etc.)
  • High proficiency with diagnostic tools such as VSM, material flow analysis, capacity analysis, etc.
  • Knowledge of CATIA, 3DVIA and SAP software
  • Proficiency in industrial engineering techniques and value-added concepts
  • Ability to conduct time and motion studies to optimize operational efficiency
  • Strong analysis and synthesis skills and independence
  • Availability for day shift or occasional evening shift teams, as needed
