Job Overview:

Great design is your forte. This role is responsible for the development and art direction for The FIKA Company brands. Reporting into the Brand Manager, you are responsible to ideate and develop creative materials to support the retail marketing calendar – campaign design, brand building, print and digital graphic design all being included.

This role is a Hybrid position, with an average one (1) day per week working from our corporate office in Toronto, ON.

In this role as Graphic Designer, your key responsibilities include:

  • The creation and execution of marketing & advertising materials, including but not limited to: email, website, in-store promotions, print collateral, social, signage, and more.
  • Working closely with the marketing team and other stakeholders to develop creative that brings the brand to life.
  • Test, review, and optimize creative to drive results and continuous improvement.
  • Keep abreast of the industry, key market trends, consumer markets, and competitors to recognize challenges and opportunities.

Job requirements

Qualified candidates:

  • Must have a portfolio of previous work available.
  • Have a minimum 2 years’ experience in advertising and/or retail marketing.
  • Have post-secondary education in graphic design or equivalent.
  • Superior expertise of Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign is required.
  • Able to leverage technology; with strong proficiency in MS Office & Adobe suite.
  • Strong communication skills, providing constant updates with all team members on projects.
  • Have exceptional organizational and follow-through skills, never missing a deadline.
