Sales & Business Advisor role at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company Advise and manage customer accounts to accomplish the sell‑in / sell‑out goals, ensuring profitable mix and volume targets to meet or exceed company objectives. Support credit and collection activities to maintain a healthy financial relationship. Develop business opportunities to support company growth. Evaluate customer needs and suggest proactive business solutions, promoting reliable and long‑term relationships with customers. Plan, develop, and support business strategies in terms of price, mix, channels, promotion, and product portfolio. What You’ll Do Promote sell‑out, following business priorities. Collaborate actively, resolving and preventing Credit & Collection issues. Maintain open, frequent communication with customers to favor win/win business. Keep technical knowledge updated, demonstrating expertise in GY products and processes. Analyze market data to support sales and marketing actions, developing a data‑driven focus to detect and capture improvement opportunities. Develop long‑term relationships. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields. Proficient with MS Office, capable of performing analyses in Excel and creating PowerPoint presentations. Desired: MBA or similar qualification. Required: 3+ years of sales experience. Desired: Previous experience in the tire and/or retail market. Availability to travel within Brazil. What Will Set You Apart Strong sales and marketing skills. Other Technical Responsibilities Coordinate technical engineering needs with Goodyear business units, capture user stories, make technical proposals, and review implementation with the team and suppliers. Prioritize all work to successfully release new hardware or software features. Collaborate with other Goodyear engineering teams on hardware support for new feature development and integration; support vehicle integration including reverse engineering. Monitor key hardware KPIs in fleet testing, process cloud data, and manage dashboard design for optimal engineering support. Contribute to continuous improvement of product and process; bring system requirements from fleet solutions to engineering teams. Technical Qualifications 7+ years of experience in design, testing of automotive systems and/or IoT devices. Practical experience in system debugging and root‑cause analysis. Experience in automotive hardware / system engineering (signal conditioning, data acquisition, data transmission, environmental testing, and certifications). Experience with data processing scripting languages like Python or MATLAB. Experience in hardware testing, environmental, electrical, and EMC testing. Working experience with automotive development processes (A‑Spice, ISO26262, Scrum). Additional Details Relocation Available: No Goodyear is one of the world's largest tire companies.
