Purpose

Reporting to the Director of FP&A and demand planning, this position will co-create the Demand Plan for the North American market, by customer and product. The Demand Plan is crucial for purchasing decisions, inventory management, and sales forecasts.


Key Accountabilities

The key responsibilities include:

  1. Ensuring the North American demand planning process is maintained monthly by country, key accounts, and product.
  2. Working with sales and product management to understand account strategy and business trends.
  3. Collaborating with procurement and sales operations to enhance customer service and manage inventory efficiently.
  4. Establishing relationships with key buyers to improve forecast accuracy.
  5. Providing tools for capturing and monitoring sales results throughout the planning process.
  6. Maintaining and updating the Forecasting tool timely.
  7. Coordinating with the margin planning analyst to ensure pricing accuracy.
  8. Optimizing demand planning tools and processes for efficiency.
  9. Improving forecast accuracy measurement.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in administration and 3-5 years of experience in demand planning.
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Highly organized and results-driven mindset.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Team player with a sense of initiative and independence.
  • Good interpersonal skills and bilingual proficiency (French and English).
  • Knowledge of the hockey industry is advantageous.
