DevOps Engineering Team - Level 2 Support

The DevOps Engineering team collaborates with various business units and stakeholders to solve complex problems using innovative solutions. Reporting to DevOps Lead, you will be responsible for planning and execution of non-functional and functional tests to ensure DevOps release minimum quality. Your role includes level 2 support to investigate and resolve potential issues reported by technical help desk or other business operation groups.


Key accountabilities:
  1. Evaluate new issue reports and determine the course of action required
  2. Participate in level 2, 24/7 production support for critically important systems
  3. Troubleshoot and provide support for all controlled environments
  4. Provide incident management services and communication in collaboration with TMX Operations
  5. Complete/automate non-functional and functional testing
  6. Maintain the DevOps pipeline and respond to requests for lower region environments

Must haves:

  • 3-5+ years' experience in quality assurance
  • Experience with Bash, Python, JavaScript, and Perl
  • Knowledge of trading, clearing, market data feeds, Linux, and Windows OS
  • Experience with Ansible, Jenkins, containerization, Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, Splunk, Nagios, and ServiceNow
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaboration with Operations and internal clients
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
  • Fluency in French and English

Nice to haves:

  • Knowledge of FIX and/or SAIL protocols
  • Experience with AWS, IBM WebSphere, Citrix servers, TCP/UDP, and messaging middleware
