Position Overview:

The Medical Director is a licensed and highly skilled medical professional responsible for overseeing clinical procedures, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing leadership to the clinical team. This role involves direct involvement in medical aesthetic treatments as well as ensuring the medical integrity of the spa's services. The Medical Director will collaborate with aesthetic injectors and other team members to ensure quality and safety in all client interactions and treatments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Clinical Oversight: Provide clinical supervision and oversight for all medical treatments including injectables (Botox, dermal fillers, PRP) ensuring adherence to medical protocols and best practices on injector days (2-3 days a week). Ensure compliance with all relevant medical and regulatory standards.
  2. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all medical services comply with local, provincial, and federal regulations, including proper record-keeping, informed consent procedures, and adherence to medical guidelines.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid and active medical license (MD, DO, NP, ND) with certification in medical aesthetics preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of facial anatomy, dermatology, and the mechanisms of various injectable and aesthetic products.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable medical laws and regulations in the cosmetic and aesthetics industry.

COMMUNICATION

  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and active listening skills, ensuring clear, empathetic interactions with clients. Ability to translate complex medical information into easy-to-understand language for clients.
  • Customer Service: A strong commitment to client satisfaction, creating a welcoming and professional environment for all guests.
  • Professionalism: Maintain a high standard of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in all interactions and decisions.

COMPENSATION

We are open to various compensation arrangements, including:

  • Hourly compensation
  • Fee per chart completed by aesthetic injectors
  • Plus Commission on aesthetic injections completed by the Medical Director

Compensation structure will be discussed and tailored based on experience, availability, and preferences.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $40.00-$60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 16 per week

Additional pay:

  • Commission pay

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
