Do you have a passion for clear, concise technical writing and translation? Are you an expert in ammunition and explosives?

We are looking for a Bilingual Senior Technical Writer for our cleint In this role, you will be responsible for creating, modifying, and updating technical documentation for approximately 200 line items, with an additional 300 requiring translation from English to French.

You Are a Great Fit If You Have

  • 10+ years of experience preparing, modifying, and updating technical documents
  • 10+ years of experience translating technical documents (English to French)
  • 10+ years of experience in ammunition and explosives (or related field)
  • A certificate/qualification related to ammunition and explosives (e.g., ATO, Ammo Engineer, RQ-6 Ammunition Technician)
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation
  • Experience following government publishing guidelines
  • Proficiency in translating technical documents between English and French
  • Excellent understanding of MS Office Suite and technical writing tools

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Analyzing technical documents and extracting key information
  • Modifying and updating technical publications, specifications, and data lists
  • Interviewing stakeholders to gather information and understand requirements
  • Creating clear and concise technical documentation
  • Translating technical documents between English and French
