We are currently seeking a full-time permanent Director, Client Portfolio Management - Wholesaler, to join our Client Portfolio Management team. As Director, Client Portfolio Management - Wholesaler, you have a solid knowledge of the financial services industry and RPIA’s investments solutions to proactively sell and support the investment advisor community in the assigned territory. You are responsible for generating new sales, while focusing on growing assets under management. You will design and implement the territory's executive plan to meet and exceed sales and business objectives by developing and maintaining relationships with independent financial advisors. This is a remote role, based out of Montreal, QC.The duties and responsibilities of the Director, Client Portfolio Management include but are not limited to:Conduct proactive one-on-one sales meetings using a consultative sales approach to identify needs, issues or opportunities to position the right investment solutionImplement a territorial business plan focused on deepening relationships with existing clients and engaging in prospecting activities to expand the reach of RPIAConsistently meet and exceed minimum activity and sales targetsConsistently demonstrate effective prospect management and prioritization and territory coverageMaintain solid knowledge of RPIA investment solutions, competition, and financial marketsEffectively utilize sales tools provided, including CRM technologyConduct, track, and analyze effectiveness/impact of targeted sales campaigns using MS Excel, hypothetical illustration tools, financial calculators, and WebEx presentationsConduct business development activities such as presentations at branch meetings, advisor and investor seminars, and participating in dealer conferencesRepresent RPIA at industry eventsCritical Competencies Technical Knowledge – Strong understanding of the financial services industry, credit markets, and mutual funds. Working knowledge of applications Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookCommunication – Proficient and persuasive speaker with fluent knowledge of English and French to effectively manage interactions with both English- and French-speaking clients and colleagues.Customer Focus – Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer centricity. Strong ability to manage and deepen relationships throughout the client lifecycle.Strategic Mindset – An action-oriented self-starter who adopts a strategic mindset, focused on developing a business plan for the assigned territory. Il vous incombe de générer de nouvelles ventes tout en vous concentrant sur la croissance des actifs sous gestion. Vous concevrez et mettrez en œuvre le plan directeur du territoire pour atteindre et dépasser les objectifs de vente et d’affaires en tissant et en entretenant des relations avec des conseillers financiers indépendants. Il s’agit d’un poste à distance basé à Montréal, au Québec.Les fonctions et responsabilités du directeur/trice, Gestion de portefeuille de clients, comprennent notamment ce qui suit :Tenir des réunions de vente individuelles de façon proactive en utilisant une approche de vente consultative pour cerner les besoins, les enjeux ou les occasions afin de trouver la bonne solution de placement.Mettre en œuvre un plan d’affaires territorial axé sur l’approfondissement des relations avec les clients existants et l’organisation d’activités de prospection pour élargir la portée du RPIA.Atteindre et dépasser continuellement les cibles minimales d’activité et de ventes.Constamment faire preuve d’efficacité dans la gestion des clients potentiels, la définition des priorités et la couverture du territoire.Conserver une solide connaissance des solutions de placement de RPIA, de la concurrence et des marchés financiers.Utiliser efficacement les outils de vente fournis, y compris la technologie CRM.Favoriser, suivre et analyser l’efficacité/l’incidence de campagnes de vente ciblées en utilisant MS Excel, des outils d’illustration hypothétiques, des calculatrices financières et des présentations WebEx.Mener des activités de développement des affaires comme des présentations lors de réunions de succursales, des séminaires à l’intention des conseillers et des investisseurs et participer à des conférences de courtiers.Représenter RPIA lors d’événements de l’industrie.Compétences essentielles Connaissances techniques – Solide compréhension du secteur des services financiers, des marchés du crédit et des fonds communs de placement.
