Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RT) to interview us to serve as our office anesthesia coordinator. Our good fit will have an undeniable passion for patient care, excellent clinical skills and a strong team-oriented mindset. Responsibilities:Conduct thorough patient medical assessmentsIntra-operative coordination and management of procedural sedation and general anesthesiaClose monitoring of patients’ vital signs in intra-operative and post-operative contextsAccurate and detailed intra-operative documentation and record-keeping according to regulatory standardsCalibration and troubleshooting anesthesia equipment and patient monitorsAssume leadership role during medical emergency and intra-operative anesthesia scenariosEnsure compliance with infection control protocols and workplace safety guidelinesParticipate actively in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction Qualifications:Valid RRT license in OntarioActive membership with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario (CRTO)Minimum of 1 year of experience in peri-operative setting (i.e., hospital OR, procedure room(s) and/or private procedural clinic) highly valued but NOT requiredValid ACLS certification will be required by work start dateProficiency and comfort with sedation monitoring neededComfort with intravenous (IV) insertion and advanced airway managementActive team participant and open communicatorAbility to work effectively in a dynamic environment and triage tasks efficientlyStrong organizational skills and high personal standard for accuracyCommitment to continuous learning and professional development Benefits:Competitive salary and eligibility for benefits packageOpportunities for career advancement and professional growth with tuition and educational reimbursement programsSupportive work culture that values teamwork, collaboration, and innovationState-of-the-art facilities and resources to provide advanced consistent patient care How to Apply: Please provide a copy of your resumé along with your submission.
