The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for ensuring that all products and services produced by the company comply with the highest standards of quality, safety, and reliability. This includes developing and implementing a comprehensive quality assurance system to monitor performance, identify and resolve problems, and ensure that all customer requirements are met.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Post-Secondary education or equivalent.
  • Work Experience: 5+ years of management experience in a manufacturing/production environment, preferably in the plastics industry.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated & a self-starter continuously looking for process improvements.
  • Passion for understanding our business and how to improve it.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to lead and work with all departments and levels within the organization.
  • The ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet all deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Strong supervisory experience at a senior level.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and working knowledge of an ERP system.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Audit & review compliance and effectiveness of current systems.
  • Support the organization to achieve performance targets for quality, production realization and customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze deviation from targets and ensure root causes are properly identified and solved.
  • Manage supplier and customer audits.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure that all products and services produced meet customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure that quality standards are maintained.
  • Investigate customer complaints and take corrective action to ensure that customer requirements are met.
  • Analyze quality assurance data and create reports to identify trends or potential problems.
  • Train and mentor staff on quality assurance standards and processes.
  • Participate in the development of new products to ensure that quality requirements are met.
  • Liaise with external suppliers and partners to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant industry trends and developments.
