Job Description:

Functions as a sustaining product owner, establishing relationships with key contacts in wafer fabrication, assembly/test, reliability, application, and quality to ensure strong communication and effective problem-solving. Responsible for all engineering activities associated with the assigned product portfolio.

Provides onsite PE support for manufacturing operations to ensure smooth running of owned products and meet delivery expectations. Offers customer-facing technical support for Customer Return (EFAR) resolution and quality improvements to ensure customer satisfaction.

Liaises with related manufacturing operations (test, assembly, probe, and fab) and Application team as needed to drive root cause investigations and resolution. Engages in NPD product ownership transition through Safe Launch, production ramp-up, and maturity.

Sustains products through cost reduction, yield improvements, BOM, and technical documents maintenance. Leads project transfer as swim-lane owner supporting ENG samples, characterization, qualification, etc. Implements with Mfg/BU CAB review and issues PCN for customer approval.

A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Electronics, or Physics, is required. 3-5 years of device or product and test engineering experience is preferable.

Proficient knowledge of power semiconductor devices such as IGBT, rectifiers, and gate drivers is needed. Experience in silicon fabrication, assembly, and testing of discrete power devices is desired. Experience in power modules is a plus.

Good knowledge in design of experiments, statistical analysis, simple circuit, and failure analysis. Hands-on working experience with statistical analysis software tools such as JMP is preferred.

Ability to multitask and be self-driven to produce results in a timely fashion with a strong sense of competitive urgency. Good verbal and written communication skills in English are essential for this position.
