Job Opening: Senior Project ManagerOur Automation & Digitalization division is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead automation and electrification projects. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of these technologies, excellent project management skills, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
LocationThe position is flexible and can be based in any of our BC offices: Nanaimo, Richmond, Prince George, or Terrace. Relocation assistance may be available.
Responsibilities- Lead automation and electrification projects from start to finish, meeting project goals, timelines, and budgets.
- Provide project administration, financial control, and procurement assistance.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and resourcing.
- Define project objectives, scope, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Manage project risks, develop contingency plans, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Establish relationships with stakeholders and provide regular project updates.
- Mentor junior project managers, drive continuous improvement, and assist in proposal development.
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering with focus on automation and electrification.
- Minimum 10 years of project management experience in delivering such projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of automation, controls, and electrification technologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in project management tools and legally entitled to work in Canada.
Salary Range: $120,000 to $150,000 per annum based on a standard work week.
