We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Kitchen Fire Suppression System Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining. and repairing kitchen fire suppression system in commercial kitchens, you will work closely with restaurant owners, kitchen staff, and other team members to ensure the safety and functionality of the critical systems.

Responsibilities

1. Install, inspect, and maintain kitchen fire suppression system according to manufacturer specifications and local regulations.

2. Conduct routine inspections and test of fire suppression systems to ensure proper functioning.

3. Identify and trouble shoot any issues with fire suppression systems and perform necessary repairs.

4. Coordinate with restaurant owners and kitchen staff to schedule maintenance and inspections.

5. Keep detailed records of inspections, tests, and maintenance activities.

6. Provide training to restaurant staff on the proper use and maintenance of fire suppression systems.

7. Stay up-to-date on industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to kitchen fire suppression systems.

Qualifications

1. Previous experience working with kitchen fire suppression systems preferred.

2. Knowledge of NFPA 17A, & NFPA 96 code and standards related to fire suppression systems.

3. Strong technical skills with ability to troubleshoot and repair.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

6. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

7. Ability of lift and carry heavy equipment and climb ladders as needed.

8. Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency service calls as required.
