Myticas Consulting's Ottawa, ON based client is looking for a Network Engineer (Cisco) for a long-term HYBRID contract opportunity.

The candidate must have a valid FEDERAL SECRET CLEARANCE.

Experience:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in testing or/and operation or/and development or/and integration in network management environments
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience with network equipment, specifically with Cisco switching and routing platforms (Cisco 9K, 9300s, 6508 and APIC)
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in IT Operations work, including the operational capabilities and typical challenges of IT Operations
  • Demonstrated ability to participate with the development process (supporting continuous integration and deployment) from idea to implementation
  • Demonstrated experience with scalable and highly available service-oriented architectures Demonstrated experience in working with Agile methodology
  • Demonstrated experience in working with Cisco ASA and/or Firepower Technologies
  • Candidates must reside within the Ottawa, Ontario or greater regions.

Additional Qualifications will also be considered:

  • Demonstrated experience in working with Cisco NCS 5500
  • Demonstrated experience in working with ServiceNow
  • Demonstrated experience working with F5 Loadbalancers
