PLANT AUTOMATION & PROCESS CONTROL ENGINEER

Candidates must be committed to relocate within small towns of Southeastern BC. Relocation is provided. Open to candidates in Canada and US This plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of industrial processes.

Qualifications:
  1. Electrical or Control Systems Engineering Background.
  2. Professional Engineering designation or eligible for P. Eng in Canada within 3-6 months.
  3. At least 5 years of experience in process control design and automation systems to achieve desired process outcomes; implementing and optimizing control systems to monitor and regulate industrial processes.
  4. Must have experience in industrial process environment (pulp & paper, mineral processing, etc.), plant maintenance, analyzing process data, identifying areas for improvement, and developing strategies to enhance efficiency, reliability, and safety.
  5. Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, including engineers, plant operators, maintenance personnel, and management, to troubleshoot issues, optimize process performance, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  6. Strong interpersonal skills as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.
