Select People Solutions is currently seeking a 5th Class Power Engineer for our client. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various mechanical systems and equipment within our facilities. This role requires a strong understanding of power engineering principles, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively, both independently and as part of a team.
Compensation & Hours
- The rate of pay will be dependent on experience.
- Monday - Friday, 8AM-4PM.
- Position is located in Lethbridge, AB.
- Monitor and operate equipment such as boilers, pumps, and dryer systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials and products as required.
- Stack and organize materials neatly to maximize storage space and facilitate inventory management.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks such as picking orders, packing products, and conducting inventory counts as required.
- Valid 5th Class Power Engineering Certification - 4th class certification would be considered an asset.
- Steel-Toed Boots.
- Ability to lift over 20kg.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to relevant regulations and procedures.
- Experience operating a forklift.
- Experience in food manufacturing.
- Experience in Process Operations.
