Position Summary:

This position has both an internal component as a key contributor to projects and an external component representing partners and customers.

  1. Assessed for commercial merits.
  2. In line with industry best practices, standards, and current technologies.
  3. Aligned to business strategy and business requirements.
  4. Examined from different perspectives to ensure long term viability and success in the market.

The Solutions Architect is a representative of the Product Development organization to our customers and partners and:

  1. Provides technical expertise on products, architectures, and technical capabilities.
  2. Is involved in technical discoveries, technology discussions, and solutions planning sessions both as a participant and as a presenter.
  3. Is the professional face of our Product Development organization to our customers and partners.

The Solutions Architect is a leader and key member of a project team:

  1. Producing architecture and design documentation and leading review sessions.
  2. Providing guidance and technical leadership to Developers based on knowledge and experience.
  3. Actively involved in technical troubleshooting and problem solving.
  4. Participating in the creation and review of software code and detailed technical implementations.
  5. Ensuring production of high quality products meeting the needs of our customers and exceeding their expectations.
  6. Some travel is required to meet with partners and customers around the world.

Qualifications:

  1. Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
  2. 7+ years in WINDOWS software development including a strong background in code level implementation.
  3. Demonstrated design and development experience across a broad range of products, technologies, and methodologies.
  4. Strong problem solving capabilities.
  5. Excellent communication skills both verbally and written, including a demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate technical sessions.
  6. Comfortable with both formal and informal technical presentations to a wide range of audiences, both technical and non-technical.
