Position is REMOTE : The selected candidate must reside within 250 km of our BOUCHERVILLE (Qc) office.
Our expectations
Reporting to the Manager of IT Supply Chain Services, the QA Analyst is responsible for the quality assurance of applications.
Its main role is to design, write, set up and execute the various tests (unit, functional, integration, automated) which will validate the quality and proper functioning of the applications.
The chosen person will work closely with the Product Manager and the Application Analyst and will be directly involved in improving and delivering quality solutions to our users.
Your role
Ensure the quality of deliverables in relation to customer requirements.
Ensure collaboration with business SMEs for quality review.
Collaborate with teams involved and business to achieve objectives.
Work in collaboration with several development teams
Ensure the quality of products in development before their release into production
Write test cases and scenarios and also develop regression test scenarios for manual as well as automated tests
Execute test cases and produce test results and report any bugs/defects
Support system tests (capacity, performance and robustness): collaborate in the development of scenarios and analysis of results
Document problems to correct and to suggest future improvements
Provide support and review for technical documentation
Collaborate with the team and should showcase good team spirit
The qualifications we are looking for
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field.
5 years of experience in software quality assurance.
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools and processes.
Proficiency in developing and executing test plans, test cases and test scripts.
Experience in test automation using industry standard tools such as CYCLE or open tools.
Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong experience with Agile methodologies and toolsets (Atlassian suite, etc.)
Can work efficiently on the workload assigned without much support from others
Can work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
