Intermediate Production Accounting Consultant
Our client is currently seeking an experienced Intermediate Production Accounting Consultant to join their team in Calgary. The successful candidate will be overseeing the financial aspects of oil and gas production activities to ensure accurate financial reporting, cost control, and compliance with industry regulations.
Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability To
- Responsible for operated and non-operated properties in Alberta from field data capture to financial reporting of volumetrics, oil and gas splits, receipt of monthly product revenue, calculation of all royalties, and financial interface.
- Ensuring that all deadlines relevant to the production accounting group are met.
- Coordinating all relevant parties when required; engineering, marketing and other accounting groups
- Performing analysis on production, revenue, royalties and reconciling these items to the general ledger
- Coding of property-related invoices and incoming revenue JIBs
- Managing all PAS master file set ups, changes, and facility charges
- 6+ years’ related experience with a CAPPA designation
- CPA designation would be an asset
- Experience with PAS, EnergyLink and Prodman would be an asset.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
