HR Data and Workforce Planning Specialist

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Data Analysis and Reporting (40%):

    Collaborate with HR colleagues and Informatics to collect, analyze, and interpret workforce data and HR metrics.

    Develop detailed reports and data visualizations to present insights and trends.

    Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to support strategic workforce planning and organizational development.

  2. Workforce Forecasting and Planning (30%):

    Develop and manage workforce forecasts to predict future staffing needs and trends.

    Analyze staffing trends and provide insights into workforce requirements and planning strategies.

    Partner with HR and departmental leaders to align workforce planning with organizational goals.

  3. Technology Integration and Enhancement (20%):

    Work closely with other departments such as Informatics and Business Intelligence to leverage technology and improve the use of HR data.

    Identify and implement technological solutions that enhance data collection, analysis, and reporting capabilities.

    Ensure the integration of data systems and tools to streamline HR processes and improve data accuracy.

  4. Strategic Insights and Recommendations (10%):

    Offer strategic insights and recommendations to senior management based on data analysis.

    Prepare and present comprehensive reports and recommendations to the Director of HR Shared Services.

    Provide guidance on data-driven decision-making to enhance organizational effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Informatics, or a related field or equivalent
  • Advanced certification in data analysis or HR analytics (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR data analysis, workforce planning, or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau)
  • In-depth knowledge of HR metrics, workforce planning, and organizational development practices
  • Experience with HR technology platforms and data management systems
  • Familiarity with technological solutions for data integration and process improvement
