The Youth Healing Lodge Program Manager reports to the Executive Director. The Youth Healing Lodge Program Manager is responsible for the management and organization of all Youth Healing Lodge activities.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop a strategic plan, manage operations and develop an operational plan which incorporates goals and objectives that work toward the strategic directions of the organization.
  • Work with Internal and External Stakeholders on the Youth Healing Lodge operations, policies and procedures and ensure these meet the expectations of MKO, stakeholders and sponsors.
  • Ensure programs and services reflect the policies required of the
  • Oversee the planning, implementation and evaluation of the Youth Healing Lodge’s programs and services, ensure that these programs and services contribute to the organization’s mission and reflects the priorities of MKO.
  • Prepare a comprehensive budget and provide the Executive Director with a monthly budget report on the revenues and expenditures of the organization.
  • Identify, assess and inform the Executive Director of internal and external issues that affect the
  • Maintain and build strong relationships with our membership and stakeholders, including but not limited to such entities as our funders.
  • Research funding sources, oversee the development of fundraising, plan and write funding proposals to increase the funds of the Youth Healing Lodge with grants, sponsorship strategic direction.

  • Implement a performance management process for all staff which includes monitoring and managing the performance of staff on an on-going basis and conducting an annual performance review.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, a combination of education and experience will be
  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field would be considered an
  • A minimum of five (5) years in senior executive and leadership roles
  • High level of financial literacy including budget development, financial monitoring and
  • Proven experience in project
  • Ability to develop and implement successful culturally specific
  • Superior problem-solving, negotiating and facilitation
  • Ability to communicate and positively interact with a variety of
  • Must be able to obtain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), a satisfactory Child Abuse Registry Check and a satisfactory Adult Abuse Registry Check upon hiring.
  • Must possess a valid Class 5F Driver’s Licence and be willing to
  • Having access to a reliable vehicle is a requirement

Salary is dependent upon qualifications and experience.
