Role DescriptionArcadis is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to join our Resilience Team in Calgary, Alberta. More specifically, the potential Project Manager will join our Evaluation and Restoration (ER) Division. As a Project Manager within our ER division, individuals with direct experience dealing with Contaminated Sites, Site Remediation, and Monitoring will be required. The successful candidate will join a growing team to provide project management, technical support, and leadership.
The Project Manager will support, mentor intermediate and junior staff with a focus on health and safety, team collaboration, high-quality work, innovation, efficiency, and focused client relationship. At Arcadis, the work/life balance and career are of the utmost concern for our staff.
Role AccountabilitiesAs a Project Manager, you'll be expected to provide project management on small, large, and complex environmental projects, including development and management of scope, schedule, budget, technical resources, project risks evaluation and mitigation, and procurement. Adhere and support corporate policy and procedures and maintain and support quality, health and safety, and performance management systems.
As part of the ER team, you'll manage and direct technical tasks and field programs for contaminated site investigations, feasibility studies, remediation design and implementation, hydrogeological studies, monitoring programs. Be responsible for ensuring that site/client project management objectives are defined and met.
Key Attributes/RequirementsKey attributes required include working knowledge and experience in environmental compliance, experience working at contaminated sites, and communication and collaboration skills. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites and meetings are required.
Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Geoscience, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of direct experience with respect to Contaminated Sites and Site Remediation. Registered and/or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer or Professional Geoscientist in Alberta is an asset.
