Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly creative and hands-on Creative Director to join our client on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a hybrid role (downtown). The Creative Director will be responsible for driving the creative vision and ensuring the highest quality of design across all consumer touchpoints. This role requires a hands-on approach, with the ability to actively participate in the design process and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create visually stunning and user-centric designs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead the overall creative vision and strategy for the company, ensuring alignment with brand goals and objectives.
  • Inspire, mentor, and manage a team of designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Actively participate in the design process, from initial concept development to final execution.
  • Create high-quality designs for a variety of digital assets, ensuring all designs are consistent with brand guidelines and meet the highest standards of quality and innovation.
  • Work closely with leadership, creative, marketing, and product, to ensure cohesive and effective design solutions.
  • Present design concepts, mock-ups, and strategies to senior leadership and other stakeholders, effectively communicating the creative vision and rationale.
  • Oversee multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Implement efficient design workflows and processes to streamline project execution and improve overall productivity.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to inform design decisions and maintain a cutting-edge approach.
  • Conduct market research and user testing to gather insights and feedback, continuously improving and evolving the design strategy.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a creative role, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
  • Proven experience in tech, with a strong portfolio showcasing innovative designs and successful campaigns.
  • Exceptional design skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or other design tools.
  • Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent visual and conceptual skills, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and strategies clearly and persuasively.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented, with strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • Proactive and adaptable to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Passionate about technology and design, with a strong drive for excellence and continuous improvement.
