We are currently seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer for our Pickering ON office. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Performs, and is responsible for, varied mechanical engineering assignments requiring general familiarity with a broad field of engineering and knowledge of reciprocal effects of the work upon other disciplines/fields;
Participate in planning required to achieve prescribed objectives;
Responsible for supervising large groups of professionals and non-professionals or small groups of specialized engineers or as a highly specialized maintenance/technical engineer in servicing heavy industrial clients in the Nuclear Sector

University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline is preferred.
~ 8+ years of working experience in design, process, maintenance engineering and engineering management within in the Nuclear, Power, or Industrial Facilities is considered an asset
~ Previous Nuclear Mechanical Maintenance and/or Consulting Engineering experience is considered as asset
~ Experience in communicating with other design disciplines and having an appreciation for the impact of their designs on other design disciplines is an asset;
~ Must have strong computer oriented skills (familiarity with Autocad, MS Office, Numerical Methods Solutions.)
~ Working experience in principles and practices of nuclear engineering as applied to design and construction of projects is preferred.
~ Experienced in the use of MS Office suite including Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
~ A copy of a valid work permit may be required.)
