About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity to support our Digitial Platforms team as a Senior Analyst, Global Payments based in Miami, FL. The Senior Analyst, Global Payments will be a critical piece in supporting all Global Payment regions (NA, LAC, EMEA, ANZ) and the 29k stores running the Global Payments Program across 15 countries. This person will maintain the Global Payments P&L, ensuring all revenue and expenses are accurate, as well as developing the dashboards to continuously monitor the Payments Performance across all stores. Additionally, this person will be crucial in ensuring Subway meets all Payments Regulations and has established procedures to do so.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Supports the Global Payments Team in day-to-day operational activities and Franchisee Support
  • Analyzes Payments KPIs and P&L performance - assessing interchange, fees, and vendor costs - summarizing financial performance to budget and identifying areas of opportunity
  • Summarizes financial impacts of new interchange and fees, working with internal and external partners to fully understand facts on when, how and if the company would be impacted
  • Tracks Global performance trends by reviewing transaction and account patterns via account dashboards
  • Produces weekly reports and distributes using established policies and procedures
  • Collaborates with technology, operations, business management, and support teams to ensure strong execution and delivery of customer value, leading to positive business results
  • Continually evaluate the effectiveness of operational procedures, webpages, and controls to identify opportunities to maximize department productivity and minimize errors
  • Develops processes and dashboards to track complex items across multiple internal LOBs, including Refunds, Disputes, and Terminal Estates

Qualifications (some examples listed below):

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field and 2+ years of experience. Finance or Payments experience preferred
  • Demonstrated learning agility, critical thinking, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with consumer payment methods such as ACH, credit/debit cards, digital wallets, and payment industry terminology such as chargebacks and interchange preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to automate, re-engineer processes, and challenge the status quo
  • Exceptional organizational and collaboration skills with the ability to prioritize and pivot quickly
  • Demonstrated ability to work in teams and collaborate across departments
