Vice President of Projects - Canada

CSG are currently partnered with a leading EPCM who have projects across the globe. They take mining and construction projects from concept, through planning all the way to operations. This role will require the successful candidate to be based in Western Canada and work within their Vancouver office.

The Vice President of Projects will be reporting into the COO and will be responsible for a portfolio of projects from small initiatives to EPCM mandates. They will provide analytical and project management support for various programs and projects to be delivered safely, on-time, and on-budget with a strong focus on the execution phase.

Duties
  • Lead development of detailed project schedules and budgets while ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental requirements.
  • Drive exceptional outcomes for all aspects of project scope, including planning, engineering, procurement/contracting, construction, and/or hand-over.
  • Communicate effectively in meetings, presentations, formal letters, and progress reports from weekly meetings to board presentations.
  • Manage EPCM style mandates and integrated owner's teams.
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience in project execution.
  • 15+ years of experience.
  • Experience on the EPCM side or as an owner.
  • Spanish speaking is an asset.
  • Stakeholder management experience.
