  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Examinat ion: Examine patients' teeth, periodontium, and surrounding tissues to diagnose disease, injury, decay, and plan appropriate preventive or corrective treatme nts.
  • General Dental C are: Provide comprehensive dental care including direct and indirect restorations, root canals, cosmetic dentistry, prosthodontics, oral surgery, and pedodont ics.
  • Patient Monitor ing: Monitor patient progress to identify changes or the progression of dental disease and adjust treatment plans accordingly .
  • Medication Prescrib ing: Prescribe antibiotics or other medications as required to manage and treat dental conditions .
  • Specialist Referr als: Refer patients to dental specialists as needed for procedures outside the scope of general practice .
  • Staff Supervis ion: Supervise dental hygienists, dental assistants, and other staff to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient operation of the practice .

Sedation Administrat ion: Administer Nitrous Oxide and limited sedatives as needed for patient comfort during procedu res.

Require ments

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.

Valid state dental license and current certifications.

Strong clinical skills and knowledge in various aspects of dentistry.

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach.

Experience or willingness to learn advanced techniques and procedures .

Edu cation

Graduate from an accredited DDS/DMD Program (Canadian or American Dental Institutions) or successful completion of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) Equivalency
