New Product Development Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced leader to drive innovation and oversee the development, refinement, and execution of engineering initiatives that enhance product performance, manufacturing processes, and overall operational efficiency. This role will play a key part in evaluating and improving product specifications, ensuring optimal design and production standards. This position will focus on manufacturing and engineering enhancements while driving continuous improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify areas for product enhancement or cost reduction by leveraging expertise in fabrication techniques, tooling, production equipment, assembly procedures, material selection, and quality assurance.
- Lead and evolve the design management process to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Analyze failures through statistical evaluation and recommend design modifications, tolerance adjustments, or process refinements to enhance product quality.
- Serve as a technical resource for manufacturing-related challenges and innovations.
- Implement new methodologies and optimize existing workflows to drive operational improvements.
- Assess product designs to ensure they meet manufacturing feasibility and completeness criteria.
- Conduct evaluations of finished products to verify adherence to quality and performance benchmarks.
- Develop and apply testing strategies to validate product capabilities and establish production standards.
- Utilize statistical analysis and product data to define quality expectations and reliability objectives.
- Align quality control initiatives with production strategies to resolve manufacturing challenges, enhance product dependability, and minimize costs.
- Oversee and manage engineering projects, developing comprehensive plans to meet objectives and ensuring seamless execution of technical initiatives.
- Collaborate with customers to refine and finalize product specifications.
- Oversee and approve product design modifications, ensuring they align with company goals and operational requirements.
