New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Technical Information Security Consultant to help our client support major hospital development projects, with a focus on Information Security.Responsibilities:Leveraging knowledge and experience in completing technical security and privacy assessments.Follow the technical intake process to review and evaluate every Builder or client supplied application, equipment type (medical/building), and technology that resides on or connects to the clients IT technical environment.Deliver Core Security Requirements (CSR) / Security, Threats, Risks Assessment (STRA) documents including recommendations, mitigations and go forward strategies and working plans.Requirements: 7+ years of experience in Information Security.10+ years of direct experience working healthcare preferred.Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification preferred.Experience on large complex multi-faceted projectsCollaborator / team player experienced working with multiple stakeholders.Seasoned intuitiveness about personal and team productivity.Ability to turnaround work in quick order and relatively good quality (minimal avoidable rework).Work effectively under time pressure.Prepared to take initiative.Prepared to make long-term commitment.Flexibility to be re-assigned in response to shifting priorities and needs across Capital Projects.Comfortable working with a variety of technology partnerIf you have this expertise, and are able to work in Canada, please submit your resume.
