Senior Compliance Testing Analyst - Operational Audit On behalf of our client in the Banking Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Senior Compliance Testing Analyst - Operational Audit. Senior Compliance Testing Analyst - Operational Audit - Job DescriptionReporting to the Senior Manager of the ETC – Compliance Testing Team, the Senior Compliance Testing Analyst will focus on providing support the testing and monitoring programThe Senior Compliance Testing Analyst models strong ethics, integrity and leadership to promote a positive work environment that fosters collaboration, innovation and synergiesThe Senior Compliance Testing Analyst will be responsible for all aspects of assigned testing engagements and monitoring activities. The role requires regular interaction and communication with business personnelOverall success is measured by timely completion of testing engagements and monitoring activities, the quality of the work performed, and the identification and risk-rating of key process and control gaps identifiedPlan and execute compliance testing programs and communicate compliance testing resultsIdentify and document regulatory compliance controlsPrepare documentation in accordance with established policies and standardsBudget and be responsible for tracking of work efforts versus budgetsProvide knowledgeable recommendations to businesses for control improvementsEnsure key regulations and key regulatory changes are captured in assigned testing programsParticipate in business initiatives as assignedProactively contribute to team processes and projectsSeek process improvements and more efficient ways to deliver value to our businessesLead testing engagements and may review the work of other testers Senior Compliance Testing Analyst - Operational Audit - Mandatory SkillsSignificant controls testing/Audit experience is requiredWork experience in the financial industry, experience with compliance and retail banking businessesExceptional communication skills with the ability to draft high quality analysesAbility to work independently, apply critical and strategic thinking to issues and make timely decisionsAbility to read & interpret regulations and understand how regulations impact business partnersStrong problem-solving skills and ability to recommend value-added solutionsStrong collaborative and relationship management skills, and experience partnering with business units and working effectively within both enterprise and business level project groupsAbility to manage multiple deadlines and prioritiesStrong Communication skills - both written and verbalOperational Audit/Testing experience (5-7 years)Ability to read & interpret regulations and understand how regulations impact business partnersStrong Problem Solving & Critical Thinking skills: and ability to recommend value-added solutions, apply critical and strategic thinking to issues and make timely decisionsStrong Collaborative and Relationship Management skills at all levelsTime management and Multitasking abilitySenior Compliance Testing Analyst - Operational Audit- Preferred SkillsAccounting designation (i.e. CPA, CA) or Audit Designation (CIA)Risk management certificateAudit or Compliance testing experience preferredCSC/CPH and other relevant industry courses preferredSenior Compliance Testing Analyst - Operational Audit - Assignment Start Date ASAP – 3 months to start Senior Compliance Testing Analyst - Operational Audit - Assignment Location Toronto, ON – Work Hybrid
