The Integration Architect is a technical leader at Prospera and will be responsible for designing and implementing robust integration solutions that align with Prospera’s strategic business goals. This role guides the development of integration platforms, ensuring seamless data flow between disparate systems while maintaining high security and compliance standards, collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, translates the requirements into technical specifications, and leads the integration efforts from concept to deployment.
What you'll do:
- System Integration Design: Design and plan how several software applications interact, share data, and collaborate to fulfill business needs. Create a strategic framework that outlines the connections and data flows between systems.
- Technology Selection: Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, tools, and platforms for integrating various applications considering factors such as scalability, security, and compatibility.
- Data Mapping and Transformation: Lead the capability of Data Mapping within Prospera and identify preferred methods, tools, and processes for data mapping to consistently document data lineage across the organization.
- API Design and Management: As part of the Data Ecosystem Cross functional team, design APIs enabling conformance to the reference architectures and work with stakeholders to structure reusable, modular payloads at the experience, process, and system layers in the messaging stack.
- Message Routing and Orchestration: Establish and implement rules for routing messages between systems, ensuring that data flows smoothly.
- Security and Compliance: Address security concerns related to data exchange. Implement authentication, authorization, and encryption mechanisms to protect information according to Prospera’s Data Governance policies and standards.
- Scalability and Performance: Optimize integration solutions for scalability and performance and ensure that systems can handle increased data volumes and maintain responsiveness.
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor data flows, track performance metrics, and troubleshoot issues. Proactively identify roadblocks and resolve integration-related problems.
- Continuously identify areas for innovation in the overall technical ecosystem. Identify technical trends that should be investigated as Proof of concepts for enterprise differentiators.
- Assess new technologies in the market for maturity and capability.
- Participate in the design and development of integration projects required to incorporate new vendors, new processes, and data sources into the enterprise.
- Coach, facilitate, and enable strong architectural outcomes across a portfolio of initiatives.
- Collaborate and build relationships with a wide range of people, including stakeholders and executives in both technical and business teams.
What you bring:
- 5+ years’ experience involved in architectural design using current best practices in the integration domain.
- 7+ years working in a collaborative team setting contributing and adhering to standards and best practices.
- A demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products, services, and technical challenges.
- Experience in documentation of high-level architectures, workflows, and other related artifacts using architectural documentation tools and nomenclature.
- Experience in service-oriented architectures, micro-services, and systems integration.
- Proven knowledge of architectural methodologies and frameworks.
- Experience in creating and maintaining reference architectures and enterprise-level data catalogs.
- Experience with data governance and stewardship.
- Experience integrating between SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS platforms using both event and time-driven techniques is an asset.
- API/Micro-service enabled ecosystem experience with legacy systems is an asset.
Prospera offers a total compensation package of base pay plus incentives that is market competitive and reviewed against the market annually. Starting salary is normally targeted around the middle of the posted salary range, and is determined based on the successful candidate’s knowledge, experience, and internal equity.
