We employ over 80 personnel at facilities in Dauphin, MB and Cambridge, MN. We prideourselves in our customer focus, team approach and innovative solutions.We invite applications for the following position:Engineering Manager (Dauphin, MB)Job Summary:The Engineer Manager is responsible for overseeing the engineering and quality departments along with managingplanned and unplanned maintenance to ensure efficient and repeatable manufacturing of products that meet customer requirements.Responsibilities Include:Assign, coordinate, and review the creation of manufacturing plans for production partsOversee the Quality department, assisting with both internal and external quality concernsMaintain shop floor drawings and specifications based on customer requirementsWork with shop floor personnel to facilitate efficient productionManage planned and unplanned maintenance and assist with part sourcing when requiredCommunicate with the Sales team and customers regarding suggested design changes and technical questionsOversee design/purchase of tools/fixtures to facilitate fabrication and ensure quality of production partsCreate production processes that incorporate safety, quality and productivityContribute to continuous improvement activities and special projectsParticipate in regular operations level meetings to provide and receive engineering support and feedbackOversee operations in engineering department by assigning tasks/projects and reviewing progress dailyAssist with hiring, training, and annual reviews for individuals directly reporting to the managerQualifications and Skills:Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology or similar programMinimum two years’ experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience with CAD, Metrology, ERP, and robotic/CAM programmingWorking understanding of the ISO 9001 standard for quality management systems is an assetStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong ability to lead, manage and support team membersExcellent time management skills and strong ability to direct resources appropriatelyExperience with email and Microsoft Office productsWork Schedule:10 hours/day, Monday to Thursday (overtime as required)Email resume to employment@ritzmachine.com
