The successful Application Support Specialist will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing off-the-shelf applications within a professional services environment. As acting IT Applications Maanager, they will ensure all applications empower professionals within the firm to deliver exceptional service to clients while maintaining the highest standards of efficiency and security.What will your responsibilities look like:Research, evaluate, and select off-the-shelf applications that align with the needs and objectives of our firm.Coordinate with stakeholders to define requirements and priorities for new applications.Oversee the ongoing maintenance and second-level support of all applications, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.Develop and potentially even deliver training programs to educate staff on the features and functionalities of our applications.Monitor the performance and usage metrics of our applications to identify areas for improvement.Analyze data and feedback to make informed decisions about optimizing workflows and enhancing user experience.Stay current with new technologies and industry trends to ensure the company's applications are strategically up-to-dateWhat experience do you need:5 years experience in enterprise applications within a professional services environment (SQL applications, Document Management, financial management systems, Microsoft Office)Comfortable with SQL DBA activitiesCloud/SaaS experience strongly preferredDemonstrable leadership abilities, including project management, team coordination, team participation, and decision-making.
